Alec Baldwin pleads guilty, agrees to take anger management

Actor and comedian Alec Baldwin pleaded guilty to harassment in court on Wednesday and agreed to take anger management classes over his parking spot explosion toward another Manhattan motorist.

The interaction took place in early November when an argument over a parking spot ended with Baldwin allegedly punching the victim, Wojciech Cieszkowski, Page Six reported.

Baldwin, who is 60, pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment, which will result in a $120 fine and the agreed upon anger management program.

“We have had an opportunity to review video surveillance in this case, speak with the witnesses, review the medical records and speak with the victim,” said prosecutor Ryan Lipes according to Page Six.

“Given that Mr. Baldwin does not have a criminal record, we are prepared to offer a harassment violation in the second degree with the condition that he completes the short anger management program.”

The comedian denied having punched the victim but did admit to getting physical with him.

“He’s an a-–—–e. He stole my spot,” Baldwin told officers at the scene, according to court papers. “I did push him.

Baldwin made no comment to reporters as he left the courtroom.

Baldwin did, however, have a few things to say on Twitter after his hearing, and eluded to news reports that stated that was charged with a violation, and not a crime.

“1- At the Criminal Court bldg on Centre Street, I pled guilty to a charge of harassment, a violation. In that bldg today there are 3 murder trials scheduled, one involving a white supremacist who killed someone in Times Square. All the press was outside the courtroom I was in,” Baldwin tweeted.

Baldwin also attempted to clarify that he did not punch anyone and went on to say that “nothing that resembles justice ever enters or leaves any courtroom in this country.

However, this isn’t Baldwin’s first run in that resulted in the police being called. The Saturday Night Live actor has had multiple aggressive interactions, previously with paparazzi.
