On Tuesday afternoon at Trump Tower in Manhattan, President Trump gave a 40-minute speech to the United Nations General Assembly earlier in the day.
Representatives Raul Grijalva and Luis Gutierrez were arrested for sitting in the street outside of the building.
Reports indicated Grijalva (D-Ariz.) and Gutierrez D-Ill) were among several lawmakers who joined a crowd sitting in the street outside of Trump Tower.
Among the other federal lawmakers who joined in the protest was Representative Adriano Espaillat (D-N.Y.).
New York City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito was also arrested.
What are your thoughts? Do you think it was unfair to arrest these lawmakers?
