WikiLeaks has confirmed what we knew all along. Donna Brazile leaked more than just the one debate question.
New documents as reported by Mediaite show that Brazile leaked questions meant for both candidates to team Clinton before a town hall meeting in March.
While this goes against all decency and fairness, it is even more telling to hear what Brazile has to say about the whole thing in an interview with Joe Madison, The Washington Post reported.
My conscience — as an activist, a strategist — is very clear, if I had to do it all over again, I would know a hell of a lot more about cybersecurity.
So in other words she only regrets that she got caught and would do it again if she could get away with it. One has to wonder if she is getting rid of all her computers in hopes that WikiLeaks doesn’t get their hands on her emails.
She goes on to say the following:
The one thing folk need to understand at CNN, MSNBC and all of this: When you hire folk who are, as you say, the, you know — their responsibility is to their candidate and their party,” Madison said, “they’re going to do whatever they can to win. That’s just — that’s the nature of the beast.
The nature of the beast according to Brazile is to put winning above all else, even at the expense of your employer.
The public is already cynical and fed up with partisan news outlets and one can sense that a storm is on the horizon. Things like his only feed that and hasten the demise of mainstream media outlets who claim to be objective but are actually tools of the candidates at the expense of the public.
