Early Friday morning, President Trump took to Twitter, “We have made more progress in the last nine months against ISIS than the Obama Administration has made in 8 years.”
In response, a former White House to President Obama fired shots right back at Trump.
Former White House deputy chief of staff Alyssa Mastromonaco tweeted, “Let us know when you kill Bin Laden.”
Earlier in the day, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright made similar accusations against Trump, claiming that Trump over-hyped his successes in the war on terror.
“The Obama administration worked very hard on dealing with the terrorist issues,” Albright said. “It would be really nice if President Trump actually thought about what he was doing rather than always blaming president Obama.”
She also added that she has never seen such a division in the United States fight against terrorism since Trump took office in January.
What are your thoughts? Whose office did more to fight against ISIS and other terrorist groups, Trump’s or Obama’s?
