President Trump’s administration has become well known as the administration who doesn’t deal with a lack of productivity. Since the beginning of his administration, the President keeps firing one staff member after another. His most recent victim was chief usher Angella Reid.
White House staff learned of Reid’s dismissal the following morning. The official who revealed the news stated:
“We are very grateful for her service and wish her the very best.”
The departure is said to be on good terms according to Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee. It would be assumed that the job was either too much to handle or Reid wasn’t accomplishing it well enough. Since she has been in the office since 2011, it’s assumed to be the latter. Reid’s regular job duty is to handle all day-to-day management of the White House.
The role originated when staff ushered people into the president. Since then, it has been adapted to include many things including covering construction, food, administrative duties, and maintenance. According to Fox News, the position is rarely ended early, and this was a rather odd removal.
Trump has held several businesses, so we’re sure that he takes his staff very seriously. However, do you think he needs to be firing these many people? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
