With Trump having secured the presidential election, most of the remaining rumors for office has gone to the Clinton family. Will Hillary run for mayor? Will she run for anything at all?
Not long after her loss to Trump, Clinton was supposedly in running to become the mayor of New York City. Although it seems quite ridiculous, she did receive almost 80 percent of the votes and could probably lock down the mayoral seat. To make it even easier, the city hasn’t favored their current Mayor, Bill de Blasio.
The rumors continued to fly but were recently put to rest by a Clinton aide who said Hillary would never be running again. However, rumors came back up when her daughter Chelsea was supposedly being prepped for a congressional run. But amidst all this chaos, which we hope to be untrue, there is one rumor that is quite interesting.
Laura Ingraham is supposedly running and Breitbart had the inside scoop below:
“Conservative talk radio personality Laura Ingraham is eyeing a Senate run in Virginia to challenge Democratic Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, the Washington Examiner reports. Sources say that several party insiders have approached her with the subject and she is considering it.
Peter Anthony, Ingraham’s business partner, has already snatched up several website domains in preparation for her Senate run, such as ingrahamsenate.net, ingrahamsenate.com, ingrahamforvirginia.com and ingraham2018.com. Ingraham did not comment on the rumored run.
Ingraham is well-known in Virginia and inside the Washington, D.C. beltway, brings a wealth of media experience to the table. In addition to her radio show, she heads up news site Lifezette.com, is a Fox News contributor, and is a New York Times bestselling author, the Blaze reports.
Ingraham, if she chooses to mount a bid, will face a crowded primary field.
So far, Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-VA), Rep. Dave Brat (R-VA), and Carly Fiorina are all reportedly exploring runs for the Senate seat.”
It will be pretty ironic if Hillary AND her running mate lost their positions in government! Who would you vote for if it came down to Kaine and Ingraham? Let us know in the comments below!
