Mark Levin spots a weakness in Pelosi’s strategy – ‘I’m convinced of…’

Fox News host Mark Levin had a positive message for those interested in the ramifications of President Donald Trump’s recent offer to Democrats, in hopes of ending the partial government shutdown.

Levin’s opinion of Trump’s offer is that it was a great deal and that it’s a good one for conservatives.

“The president is trying to do something that Republican presidents and Republican Congress have failed to do for 30 years …”

“[Trump has] taken amnesty off the table, unlike every Republican president in the last 30 years, right off the top,” Levin said. “And he says despite the democrat lies for 30 years, demanding amnesty and demanding massive spending, and then we will get to the border spending.

“He’s not a fool. He’s said ‘you know what? I’ve seen this go on for 30 years,’ and the president is saying enough of the lying to the American people. It’s time Nancy Pelosi side with the American people and not with the government south of the border.”

Later in the conversation, Levin pointed out that Pelosi is trying to bring to the rest of the nation what has taken place in her home state.

“She comes from a sanctuary city. She stands for sanctuary cities. … There’s a big country out there that doesn’t believe in nullifying federal law, that doesn’t believe citizenship should be handed out like lollipops,” he said. “The president will stay strong on this; I’m convinced of it.”

“No, Amnesty is not a part of my offer. It is a 3-year extension of DACA,” Trump tweeted on Sunday.

“Amnesty will be used only on a much bigger deal, whether on immigration or something else. Likewise, there will be no big push to remove the 11,000,000 plus people who are here illegally-but be careful Nancy!”

Levin also spoke out on Facebook, telling his followers that following a close inspection, he strongly agrees with the proposal that the president has offered to Democrats.

“I strongly support President Trump’s immigration proposal today. Pelosi & Schumer rejected it even before the president spoke to the nation & made his proposal. They’re radical know-nothings. Let’s hope some rank-and-file Democrats break from their open-border leadership and vote for it. You should contact your members of Congress & urge them to do so.”
