Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters of California has long opposed President Trump. She attacked him several times during his campaign and when he was finally elected President, she fought against most of his administration’s policies. During a speech in front of pro-choice advocates Waters made the following comment:

In the past few months, 78-year-old Waters has ramped up her verbal attacks calling President Donald Trump “disgusting” and “disrespectful.” Then, on the first of May, Waters took to Twitter to dish out some advice to the newly elected President:
“Trump confessed to Reuters that being President is more challenging than he anticipated. He should do himself & the country a favor & resign.”
The tweet is referring to a statement made by Trump where he stated he thought the presidency would be easier than his previous endeavors:
“I loved my previous life. I had so many things going. This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier.”
Rep. Waters will most likely continue her attacks on Trump since she has become a ‘spokeswoman’ of sorts for calls to impeachment. Her primary reason for calling for impeachment stems from her accusations that Trump was working with the Russians during his election. However, despite her wish to blame him for this, no concrete evidence has surfaced saying this is true.
Do you think Trump should resign? Or do you think he’s actually doing a great job at the presidency? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
