Rep. Maxine Waters has been a constant rival of President Trump, and she hardly hides her voice. Her most recent resistance of President Trump came from a Friday Tweet in which she stated Trump should be “dragged… to impeachment.”
Maxine has been a major player in the push to get President Trump impeached. She has been the center voice piece for several rallies including the most recent in Los Angeles. The LA Resist March was accompanied by the annual LA Pride Parade. Breitbart reported an excerpt of Waters statement from the rally:
“He is not my president. He is not your president. He lies. He cheats. He’s a bully. He disrespects us all. If he thinks he can mess with the LGBT community, he better look at what happened right here in West Hollywood. You deny you disrespect, and you will find that there are people who have the courage to organize and to take back whatever needs to be taken back. We resist this president because he stands for the worst of everything. And guess what, I know that people may not quite be ready. I know some are a little hesitant. I know some are saying I’m not so sure, Maxine, that what you are saying is the right thing, but I’m saying, impeach 45. Impeach 45.”
Maxine Waters also made a statement at the Center for American Progress’s Ideas Conference. Waters said impeachment isn’t “out of reach” and promised to blame Republicans for being “not patriotic” if they didn’t help impeach the President.
Maxine isn’t going to bail out anytime soon, but at what point do you stop people from actively creating resistant groups against the President of the United States? It’s as if a rebellion was forming. What are your thoughts? Let us know!
