McCain Demolishes Presidential Policy Claims the ‘Proof Is In the Pudding’

While Hurricane Irma is getting ready to cause potential devastation up and down Florida’s west coast, Senator John McCain (Republican-Arizona) said on Sunday that we need to start understanding that climate is changing.

Hurricane Irma was a category four hurricane that is bringing 130 mph winds and moved up Florida’s west coast on Sunday.

On CNN’s “State of the Union,” McCain said, “There is things happening with the climate in the world that is unprecedented,” in response to a question asking why Republicans act as if climate change is not real.

McCain went on to express the importance of nuclear power as well.

He said, “It’s the cleanest, cheapest, in many ways, source of power. We have to understand that the climate may be changing and we can take commonsense measures which will not harm the American people.”
