The White House has finally revealed Melania Trump’s first official portrait as the First Lady. The tradition of having a portrait goes all the way back to our first president. Throughout the years, President’s and their wives have taken a variety of painted, drawn, and photographed images. Melania’s first official portrait was taken via photograph:
The 46-year-old former model turned First Lady dazzled the camera with a professional, assertive, and determined look. The first lady wore a black outfit with a stunning but calm smile. But what’s catching most people are the two large diamonds on her rings.
The photo was released on Monday with the following press release from Ms. Trump:
“I am honored to serve in the role of First Lady, and look forward to working on behalf of the American people over the coming years.”
The first lady has gained plenty of comments from social media for her beauty and a few on how much airbrushing she used. Overall, she received a great response!
But her picture doesn’t seem to reflect her actions so far in the White House. Ms. Trump has continued to live in New York in Trump Tower while her son Barron finishes out the school year and she has remained out of sight for many common events. Hopefully, the Easter extravaganza will help get her more acquainted with the first lady mentality.
