President Trump’s White House has seen little in the way of sports teams visit. With all the controversy, many have turned down the opportunity to visit the President in hopes that the platform they stand on will encourage others to stand against the President of the United States.
Well, the White House is about to be rejected again, this time by the NBA championship team. The Warriors took their second championship victory but have opted to not visit the President unlike during their first championship win. During their first win, the team all visited former President Barack Obama who at the time had been in office three years.
But according to Josh Brown, contributor to CNBC, the Warriors unanimously voted to not attend a White House meet and greet:
If you disagree with President of the United States, does that mean you should just deny a visit to him? Wouldn’t it be more impactful to show your fans that you respect everyone even if you disagree and that meeting the President could help down the road? What do you think about the Warriors all skipping a White House visit? Let us know in the comments below!
