Anti-Trump Advocates Refuse to Perform Pledge of Allegiance At Organizations Meeting

A local protest meeting sponsored by MoveOn.org just decided to reject the Pledge of Allegiance because it wasn’t on their meeting agenda…

That’s right, and it was captured on camera! Karen Siegemund, American Freedom Alliance Chair, asked the speaker to lead the Pledge prior to the meetings official start. She was in for a shock when the speaker answered in an almost humorous tone.

Siegemund simply said, “Perhaps we have a veteran in the room who would be happy to lead us to the Pledge of Allegiance?” Her question was met by a series of under the breath comments and negativity as seen in the video below.

The speaker responded saying:

“I’m sorry, but just to keep this meeting moving. I, personally, agree with you. I’m a recovering Republican and I agree with you. However, I’m going to rule that motion out of order simply because it’s not on the agenda.”

Siegemund left the meeting right after, but the meeting continued on in the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. The MoveOn.org event was organized for various volunteers who were anti-Trump. Their goal was to create and organize ways to resist him in his upcoming organization.

Various topics were covered including the Affordable Care Act, immigration, and planning rallies. Some people were even planning on flying to D.C. to participate in the Women’s March the day after the President-elect is sworn into office.

According to our sources, the women’s march is going to be one of America’s largest protests and will be performed side by side with numerous other protests on that day.

Do you think it’s right to protest a president even after their elected? Let us know in the comments below!
