President Donald Trump officially swore in as President as of Friday and his team also took over the famous @POTUS twitter account. However, something seemed wrong with the cover photo on Twitter and it was being pointed out by many. The picture seemed to show a lot more people than what was actually at Trump’s inauguration.
So what happened? Supposedly the social media team used a picture of Obama’s inauguration in 2009. At 1:20 p.m., Full Frontal with Samantha Bee posted what the event actually looked like. Granted, it was a rainy day, the majority of the people in D.C. are liberals and doubtfully like him, and most importantly, Protesters managed to close down SIX entrances to Capitol Hill.
Noticed you had to use an old Obama inauguration photo for your banner, so we fixed it for you. pic.twitter.com/qTkPCuGUY9

But regardless, the twitter account quickly fixed their issue at 1:55 p.m. when they changed the background to an American flag.
Then, at 2:50 p.m., the Twitter account changed AGAIN…but this time it was changed to a picture of Trump. But it was a terrible grainy picture or maybe they just wanted a very blurred image.
Well, you can’t win them all. Hopefully Trump will give his social media team a swift kick in the butt. Until then, they really just need to get a better picture!
