TIME Magazine’s soon-to-be cover includes a photo of several Parkland shooting survivors, including Emma Gonzalez and David Hogg, two outspoken students who have strongly spoken out against the NRA.
One Parkland shooting survivor, however, was missing. Kyle Kashuv, a pro-Second Amendment teenager was left out of the photo.
Kashuv responded on Twitter, saying that including him would actually make TIME unbiased.
Kashuv has been a strong voice for gun rights since the shooting. He has described himself as a “very strong Second Amendment supporter.”
When Kashuv met Melania Trump, he told Fox & Friends, “She is the nicest human being I’ve ever met. She’s so maternal. She truly cares. We sat down for so long and discussed it, and I’ve never seen someone so caring and so empathetic.”
