The Conservative Political Action Conference seemed to go off without a hitch, but there was a small ‘prank’ that arose during the conference. Ryan Clayton, 36, and Jason Charters, 22 from the group Americans Take Action handed out flags.
As CPAC progressed throughout Friday, people started waving Russian flags with the word “Trump” in the center. Although it was seen as a prank, CPAC security quickly round those people up and collected the flags. Security also warned them all that if the flags were waved, they would be removed from CPAC.
Peter Hamby of Snapchat caught photos of the so-called prank and tweeted them out:

One attendee from San Francisco wanted to keep the flag as a “souvenir” says The Hill. He also told The Hill that no one had a sense of humor anymore.
The prank was pointing to the fact that Trump has several alleged ties with Russia and they supposedly helped him win the presidency. The Clinton campaign also accuses Moscow of Hillary Clinton’s loss, however, there is no concrete evidence supporting such accusation.
There is still plenty of speculation on Trump’s ties with the Russians, but his position as president still stands regardless of what people assume. When evidence is found, then people can attack the president and take action. Until then, what do you think America should do about these alleged ties?
