Some In This State’s Legislator Voted For Sharia Law To Be Allowed In Their Courts

Sharia Law. The law that governs the Muslim religion and encourages ISIS to do what they do. The law states in Q 4:34 that you can beat your wife if they “fear disobedience,” it says in Q 65:4 that you can have sexual interactions with pre-pubescent girls, and in P 17:3, it says that those under Sharia Law should “kill the one who sodomizes” (or is homosexual).

Who in their right mind would agree that Sharia Law is allowed in America? The Democrats.

Democrats of Montana have recently opposed a bill that would have limited the use of foreign law in the state courts. The reason backing their decision was that the ban was attacking Muslims. The same excuse has been used on several versions of Trump’s temporary travel ban.

Bill 97 was introduced by Keith Regier and bans the use of foreign laws in Montana’s courts. This includes the Sharia Law, the primary law of the Muslim religion. While the Democrats did their best to oppose it, the ending vote passed the bill at 56-44. But Democrats are still fighting the bill. Rep. Shane Morigeau debated the bill saying:

“I think it sends a dangerous message to minority groups both here living in our state and wanting to come visit our state, just merely on the fact that you may be different. I truly believe this law is repugnant. I believe this is not who we are as Montanans.”

Rep. Ellie Hill Smith tried to propose a failed amendment banning the Sharia Law and the Law of Moses to “show the state of Montana that it is not just about Islamic Law.” Smith issued a statement about the bill stating:

“The courts have said that laws that single out certain religions violate the First Amendment.”

Smith claimed the bill was “peppered with anti-Muslim bigotry” while Republican Rep. Brad Tschida came straight out and said the bill was attempting to push against our “constitution [that] is constantly under assault.”

Do you think Sharia Law should be allowed in our courts? Is this really how we want our lives judged?
