Now anyone can have a part in helping adult film actress Stormy Daniels in her legal fight against the president. She has launched an online fundraising drive on Crowd Justice that has raised more than $12,000 as of early Wednesday afternoon.
I mean who wouldn’t want to help an aging porn star cash out and make millions on a book deal, interviews, and I’m sure at some point a reality TV show. Look, if you’re not smart enough to go for at least seven figures and take 130k to keep quite I’m not sure you deserve anyone’s money.
Proceeds are expected to aid Daniels in her fight to get a nondisclosure agreement between Daniels and Trump nullified. The agreement was signed by Trump’s attorney, Michael Cohen in October of 2016.
Daniels has offered to return the $130,000 she was paid through the agreement in exchange for the freedom to talk publicly about her alleged affair with Trump over a decade ago.
“I recently made an offer to return the $130,000 I was previously paid if it was agreed that I could simply tell the truth publicly. Mr. Trump and Mr. Cohen did not even bother to respond,” she wrote on the website.
Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, filed a civil suit last week against Trump in an effort to void the agreement. She says that it is not valid because Trump never signed it.
“I need funds to pay for: attorneys’ fees; out-of-pocket costs associated with the lawsuit, arbitration, and my right to speak openly; security expenses; and damages that may be awarded against me if I speak out and ultimately lose to Mr. Trump and Mr. Cohen,” she said.
Michael Avenatti, an attorney for Daniels, retweeted a Washington Post story on the fundraising drive.
“Stormy Daniels launches online fundraising drive to cover legal costs for breaking free of hush agreement with Trump’s lawyer.”

Cohen has acknowledged making the payment but says it was done with his own funds. Avenatti says it is “absolutely laughable” that Trump was unaware of the agreement.
The White House has denied that the president had an affair with Daniels.
How successful do you think Daniel’s online crowdfunding will be?
