Conservative Political analyst Rush Limbaugh said on the Friday edition of his show that he believes the entire special counsel investigation into Russian collusion is about deception.
Limbaugh’s comments were prompted by the arrest of Trump ally and former Trump campaign advisor Rodger Stone.
The radio host opened the conversation talking about the circumstances that surrounded Sone’s arrest, where FBI raided his house at 6 a.m. and armed agents escorted him out of his Ft Lauderdale, Florida home under the indictment of lying to investigators.
“FBI. Open the door.”

“Roger Stone had not committed a crime until the Mueller investigation began. Roger Stone had not committed a crime until they began questioning him,” Limbaugh stated.
“If they were filled with integrity, if they were honest, they would have told the American people a year ago, ‘There isn’t any collusion. There isn’t any collusion between the Trump campaign or Russia. We haven’t found any because there isn’t any.’
“They could have continued their investigation into whatever, but they didn’t. Why did they continue this fraud? Why did they continue this masterminded effort to convince the American people that Russians changed votes and tampered with voting machines and had an impact on the outcome of the election?
“They have done this on purpose, knowing that it didn’t happen.”
According to Limbaugh, President Donald Trump and those who helped him win the 2016 presidential election:
“If anybody deserves to be investigated here, it is the investigators and the people who appointed them! They say that Stone lied to investigators.
“If you look at the indictment of Roger Stone, there’s nothing in there to do with Russia or Russia collusion. He’s accused of trying to get the stolen emails from the DNC via WikiLeaks.
Limbaugh took it a step further, saying that, “They could theoretically go after Trump now because he was doing the same thing that Roger Stone has been indicted for doing: Trying to get hold of the emails from John Podesta that WikiLeaks had!”
