President Trump took to Twitter on Friday, once again, to accuse “Obstructionist Democrats” of jeopardizing national security by insisting court fights against his travel ban and other measures following the terror attacks in Spain.
President Trump tweeted, “The Obstructionist Democrats make Security for our country very difficult. They use the courts and associated delay at all times.”
He followed with another tweet stating, “Radical Islamic Terrorism must be stopped by whatever means necessary! The courts must give us back our protective rights. Have to be tough!”
Trump’s messages were issued while Spanish officials continue investigating Thursday’s terrorist attacks in central Barcelona and the resort of Cambrils.
Trump was quoted saying that America’s borders “are far tougher than ever before.” He went on to say, ““Homeland Security and law enforcement are on alert & closely watching for any sign of trouble. Our borders are far tougher than ever before!”
The Trump administration is currently locked in a battle with opponents over his travel ban, but the Supreme Court will continue the case in the fall. Certain portions will go into effect…
New visa applicants from Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Libya, Iran, and Yemen must be able to prove a relationship with a parent, spouse, child, adult son or daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, aunt, uncle, or a sibling already in the United States in order to enter the United states.
A fourth person was arrested on Friday in connection with the terror attacks in central Barcelona. Over a hundred people were wounded.
In Cambrils, another woman died, making the death toll rise to 14 people. Police shot and killed 5 people who had bomb belts, even though they were later found to be fake.
It was later confirmed that the terrorist attacks in central Barcelona and Cambrils were linked.
