On Monday morning President Trump recently boasted about the United States and her economic growth which has indeed seen a generous boost. He also had to say there was no “chaos” in the White House due to several top officials resigning at the same time. About five hours later newly appointed communications director Anthony “the Mooch” Scaramucci got the boot. The New York Times is reporting:
The decision to remove Mr. Scaramucci, who had boasted about reporting directly to the president, not the chief of staff, John F. Kelly, came at Mr. Kelly’s request, the people said. Mr. Kelly made clear to members of the White House staff at a meeting Monday morning that he is in charge.
It was not clear whether Mr. Scaramucci will remain employed at the White House in another position or will leave altogether.
Trump made this statement right after Reince Priebus resigned from his chief of staff position. Trump did release a tweet of gratitude after the chief of staff left. In the Tweet, Trump thank Priebus for his “service and dedication to his country.” As of now, Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly will be replacing Priebus.
On top of Priebus leaving, the White House communications director was recently changed to Anthony Scaramucci. Scaramucci attacked Priebus and Stephen Bannon during an interview with The New Yorker just days earlier of Priebus’s resignation.
Trump’s original Tweet also came after the heat of his decision to not allow transgender people in the military.
Do you think the White House is in chaos? Or is this a blown up theory pushed by the media?
