You’ve got two really powerful men, and now one of them is ready to compare the size of their intellect. President Trump just did an interview with Forbes magazine in which he offered to compare IQ tests with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.
This came after reports by NBC News that Tillerson had called him a “moron.” Trump said, “I think it’s fake news, but if he did that, I guess we’ll have to compare IQ tests,” Trump said in the interview published Tuesday.
“And I can tell you who is going to win.”
According to NBC News, Tillerson called the president a “moron” and also considered leaving Trump’s administration. In a press conference last week, Tillerson himself denied that he ever considered leaving his post as Secretary of State. But he never denied calling Trump a “moron.” Tillerson’s department later said that the report was not true.
With six hours the President calling for an IQ test was the top story in the nation. The White House has officially responded to the media freak out over the President wishing to compare his IQ.
“The president certainly never implied that the secretary of state was not incredibly intelligent. He made a joke, nothing more than that,” Sanders said. “He has full confidence in the secretary of state. They had a great visit earlier today. And they are working hand in hand to move the president’s agenda forward.”
By now we all know the President knows how to push the media’s buttons for example like last weeks “You’ll find out”. Looks like he did it again.
