President Donald Trump, once again, has people shaking their heads on Tuesday morning in response to his questionable behavior on Twitter.
To begin, Trump retweeted someone referring to him as a fascist in response to “Fox & Friends” story that said Trump was “seriously considering” firing Joe Arpaio, sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona.
Just last month, Arpaio was found guilty of criminal contempt after he was ordered to stop racially profiling Latinos.
In response, Trump said, “I am seriously considering a pardon for Sheriff Arpaio.”
He continued, “He has done a lot in the fight against illegal immigration. He’s a great American patriot and I hate to see what has happened to him.”
“Fox & Friends” then shared the story on Twitter. A twitter user quoted the tweet, saying, “He’s a fascist, so not unusual.”
Trump then retweeted it…
The twitter user went on to quote Trump’s retweet, saying, “I’m announcing my retirement from Twitter. I’ll never top this RT.”
Moving on, President Trump also retweeted an image that appeared to show a train hitting a CNN reporter. It was captioned, “Fake news can’t stop the Trump train.”
Trump has often and openly expressed his thoughts about CNN, referring to the network and its story as “fake news.”
Last month, Trump modified and tweeted a video of a wrestling match between himself and CNN. The video showed Trump attacking a figure whose face was covered with a CNN logo.
Trump has also been receiving scrutiny for not addressing white supremacy and the Charlottesville tragedy.
After saying “racism is evil,” Trump was again quoted saying, “Made additional remarks on Charlottesville and realize once again that the
#Fake News Media will never be satisfied…truly bad people!”
Both Tweets were deleted.
