Watch: Former FBI Deputy Director Claims He Knows What’s Going To Happen To Trump

President Trump ran on the promise that he would “drain the swamp, ” and everyone knew he wasn’t a huge fan of what the government had become. However, CNN counterterrorism analyst Phil Mudd must have forgotten that when he recently warned that President Trump was agitating the government and if he continued to do s, they “[were] going to kill this guy.”

Former FBI Director Robert Mueller employed Mudd as deputy director during his tenure. It was there that Mudd witnessed the ins and outs of what was really going on in the government. In his interview with Tapper, Mudd stated that Trump’s defense of Vladimir Putin is frustrating federal workers “at Langley, Foggy Bottom, CIA, and State”
(for my grammar people State is federal slang for the State Department).

“Let me give you one bottom line as a former government official. Government is going to kill this guy. …He defends Vladimir Putin. There are State Department and CIA officers coming home, and at Langley and Foggy Bottom, CIA and State, they’re saying, ‘This is how you defend us?”

The former deputy also used Trump’s ban on transgenders in the military as another reason the government is turning on him:

“We saw the same thing in his transgender comments. What is the military saying to him on transgender? ‘Show us the policy.’ You know what that means inside government? ‘Ain’t going to happen.’”

Mudd then turned the conversation toward former Trump campaign manager, Paul Manafort. He used the following statement to make clear the point that the intelligence community and the President have severe mistrust:

“What did the Department of Justice say on Paul Manafort? ‘You can say what you want; a judge told us we had cause to search his home early in the morning because we don’t trust the guy who was your campaign manager.’ The government is going to kill this guy because he doesn’t support them.”

Trump’s White House has been riddled with leaks that have been severely damaging to both Trump and his actions. One such critical leak was from a phone call with Trump and a foreign leader which was given to The Washington Post. Ned Price, a former National Security Council official, addressed his concerns about this:

“This is beyond the pale and will have a chilling effect going forward on the ability of the commander in chief to have candid discussions with his counterparts. Granted, the White House contributed to this atmosphere by welcoming the free-for-all environment, where anonymous leaks are commonplace. But we must draw the line somewhere.”
