On Sunday the eyes of the world were watching President Donald Trump as he was making remarks during a visit to Saudi Arabia. His comments were made in Riyadh and leaders from over 50 Muslim-majority nations attended.
Despite the attendance of such a largely Muslim audience, President Trump did not hold back his thoughts:
“Our goal is a coalition of nations who share the aim of stamping out extremism and providing our children a hopeful future that does honor to God. We are not here to lecture — we are not here to tell other people how to live, what to do, who to be, or how to worship. Instead, we are here to offer partnership — based on shared interests and values — to pursue a better future for us all.”
The President then set his sights on Iran saying that Iran is spreading “destruction and chaos” and the Saudi King Salman echoed those remarks saying, “the Iranian regime has been the spearhead of global terrorism.”

Many were wondering how the President would be received especially after some of the rhetoric he used during the campaign. However, the trip has been viewed as a success although some have said his statements in Saudi Arabia were a contradiction of his policies.
What do you think of the President remarks?
