“A disgrace to our country” – Trump calls for ‘fraud’ Schiff to be impeached immediately

The White House counsel lambasted the inquiry into President Donald Trump, saying “President Trump and his Administration cannot participate in your partisan and unconstitutional inquiry,” The DailyMail reported.

Trump wrote on Wednesday that Rep. Adam Schiff should be “impeached” despite impeachment not being applicable for members of the House of Representatives.

In another retweet, Trump blasted: “Adam Schiff is a disgrace to our Country!”

Trump unloaded on House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff once again during an event for the signing of the trade deal with Japan, according to The DailyMail.

Trump said that Schiff should be “investigated” for putting words in Trump’s mouth that he didn’t say and while he was on the subject, took a swipe at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, saying that she was as “guilty as he is,” referring to Pelosi and Schiff.

“He went out as though I wrote it. He defrauded the American people. He defrauded congress. He defrauded himself and his family,” Trump said according to the DailyMail.

“I think Adam Schiff should be investigated for what he did. He took to the great chamber, Congress, and he made a speech. And his speech was a fraud. Everything he said was a fraud,” said the president.

The speech that the president was referencing saw Schiff at a hearing where he read a parody of the president’s controversial conversation with officials from Ukraine.

“He met with the whistleblower. They never said that. They never talked about it,” Trump said, referencing newer reports that an aide to Schiff met with the whistle-blower who made allegations against the president about abuse of office.

The Washington Post also took on House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff calling his claim that he had not been in contact with the whistleblower accusing President Donald Trump of misconduct a blatant lie.

The Post’s Glenn Kessler wrote early on Friday that Schiff’s claim was a “flat-out false,” and cited several of his interviews in which he made similar statements.
