Former President Bill Clinton has finally given a statement on Monday night, he has distanced himself from the recently convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. This one-time friend of the former president is facing an onslaught of new charges.
“President Clinton knows nothing about the terrible crimes [Epstein] pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago, or those with which he has been recently charged in New York,” the statement said.
“In 2002 and 2003, President Clinton took a total of four trips on Jeffrey Epstein’s airplane: one to Europe, one to Asia, and two to Africa, which included stops in connection with the work of the Clinton Foundation,” the statement added. “Staff, supporters of the foundation, and his Secret Service detail traveled on every leg of every trip. He had one meeting with Epstein in his Harlem office in 2002, and around the same time made one brief visit to Epstein’s New York apartment with a staff member and his security detail. He’s not spoken to Epstein in well over a decade, and he has never been to Little St. James Island, Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico, or his residence in Florida.”
Clinton, who is now 72-years-old, was said to have taken more then two dozen trips on Epstein’s private Boeing 727. The aircraft is dubbed the “Lolita Express.” The wealthy financier has also hosted President Trump, according to court claims.
Nancy Pelosi’s daughter Christine Pelosi, a Democratic National Committee official, has said that she believes some of Epstein’s elitist buddies could “quite likely” be “implicated” in his latest sex-trafficking case. Some of his other prominent pals include Woody Allen, Alan Dershowitz and Great Britain’s Prince Andrew.
“This Epstein case is horrific and the young women deserve justice,” Christine Pelosi tweeted Saturday. “It is quite likely that some of our faves are implicated but we must follow the facts and let the chips fall where they may – whether on Republicans or Democrats.”
