Chelsea Clinton complains about life under Trump: “People are suffering every day…”

Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton appeared on ABC’s “The View” alongside her mother, Hillary Clinton, during which the younger Clinton took aim at President Donald Trump, saying that he is “the greatest scam in American political history,” and that she doesn’t want her children to grow up under his leadership.

The pair were on the show to promote their new book, “Gutsy Women,” but somehow spent a good portion of their time talking about a man, Trump.

Clinton doubled down on Trump’s perceived misdeeds while in the White House, saying: “I think his whole life has been a scam. And I think unfortunately people are suffering every day because his scam has thus far kind of succeeded at the highest level.”

The younger Clinton woman was coming off a social media high of responding to one of the president’s tweets with a remark that won her over a quarter of a million likes, and more than 40,000 retweets.

Following House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s decision to back an impeachment inquiry, the president tweeted denouncing the move calling it “THE GREATEST SCAM IN THE HISTORY OF AMERICAN POLITICS!” Chelsea responded with, “Yes, you are.”

The former first daughter’s scathing rebuke follows similar remarks she made on Twitter earlier this week in response to the president’s tweet denouncing the House Democrats’ decision to move forward with an impeachment inquiry.

Chelsea also pointed out what she believes is “cruelty” toward migrants and other Americans who are “suffering” under his administration, likely referring to those who have attempted to enter the United States for economic gain who were not immediately awarded asylum.

Chelsea also argued on the show that Trump has repeatedly engaged in a ‘cruelty’ towards migrants and that Americans are ‘suffering’ under his administration.

The mother of three children also gave a heart-wrenching speech about how the country today is “not the America I want my children to grow up in.”

“You know I have a daughter Charlotte who just turned five last week, a son Aiden, he is three and baby Jasper just two months old,” she said. “And I think about the country they’re living in right now it’s not the country I want them to grow up in.

“We learned last night that President Trump wanted to dig a ditch at the border and put alligators and snakes and shoot migrants in the leg,” Chelsea explained.

“The depth of cruelty and inhumanity towards migrants, towards people of color, towards LGBTQ community…is not the America I want my kids to grow up in.”
