Dinesh D’Souza Knocks Michelle Obama Right Off Her High Horse

Recently pardoned filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza took a swipe at former first lady Michelle Obama via Twitter, saying that her college thesis was “illiterate and incoherent.”

“Anyone who has read Michelle’s college thesis – a document so illiterate and incoherent that it was written, as Christopher Hitchens put it, in “no known language” – will chuckle heartily at this one,” he wrote in a tweet.

He followed that up by saying:

“By way of context for these remarks on smartness, I offer you Michelle’s Princeton senior thesis, a complete intellectual embarrassment not just to her but also to Princeton.” D’Souza then included a link to the thesis.

D’Souza’s disdain stemmed from comments made by Obama during her book tour where she said that she had, “probably every powerful table that you can think of.”

“I have worked at nonprofits, I have been at foundations, I have worked in corporations, served on corporate boards, I have been at G-summits, I have sat in at the UN. They are not that smart.”

According to The Daily Mail, Obama was speaking to, “a sold-out crowd of 2,000” during her book tour, but admitted that she still has “a little [bit of] impostor syndrome.”

“It never goes away, that you’re actually listening to me,” she said. “It never goes away, that feeling that you shouldn’t take me that seriously. What do I know?”

“I share that with you because we all have doubts in our abilities, about our power and what power is.”

D’Souza was pardoned by President Donald Trump of his conviction of making illegal campaign contributions in 2012.

Obama’s thesis has been the subject of debate before since it was put on restricted access by Princeton during the heat of the 2008 presidential campaign.

That action fueled speculation by conservatives until Obama released it to Politico herself.
