Divine intervention? – Pelosi says we must “pray” for Trump’s health amid “unhinged meltdown”

Pelosi, cross and Trump

President Trump used Twitter to continue his attack on Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi following Wednesday’s intense White House meeting on Syria. Democratic congressional leaders stormed out, claiming the president had a “meltdown.”

But Trump soon turned the tables in the evening with tweets and claimed Speaker Pelosi was out of sorts, not him.

“Nancy Pelosi needs help fast! There is either something wrong with her ‘upstairs,’ or she just plain doesn’t like our great Country. She had a total meltdown in the White House today. It was very sad to watch. Pray for her, she is a very sick person!,” he said.

Trump posted a picture of the Cabinet room showing the empty seats at the main table after Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, and House Majority Leader Steny Hoye walked out.

“The Do Nothing Democrats, Pelosi and Schumer stormed out of the Cabinet Room!” he wrote.

The president went on to describe his own success by sharing a quote by Republican Congressman Brian Babin of Texas that said: “This President is the most patriotic President I’ve seen in many years. He is going to do what is good for Americans.”

Following the Wednesday meeting, Pelosi told reporters at the White House she thought the president was shaken by a vote in the House of Representatives shortly before their meeting. There were 129 Republicans who joined Democrats to condemn Trump’s decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria in a 354 to 60 vote.

“We have to pray for his health – because this was a very serious meltdown,” she told reporters in the Capitol building after her return from the White House.

Trump also tweeted official White House photographs from inside the meeting captioning one: “Nervous Nancy’s unhinged meltdown!”

The picture showed his aides and senior military leader staring at the table as Pelosi, standing, pointed a finger towards him. Pelosi embraced the picture, with her chief of staff saying mockingly “Thank you for the cover photo, @realdonaldtrump.”

She later made that image her Twitter cover photo.

The intense meeting apparently began with Trump claiming to Pelosi:
“I hate ISIS more than you,” according to a Democratic source. She responded: “You don’t know that.”

And the source said that in the meeting, Pelosi told Trump: “All roads with you lead to Putin.”
