The hypocrisy in this nation is getting out of control, and it’s getting several more conservative voters irritated beyond belief. The most recent example of this is how the New York Times report on Trump recent Tweeted video.
The President released a tweet which showed Trump wrestling and body slamming a person whose head was replaced with the CNN logo. The Times condemned the tweet as a “call for violence against the media.” However, isn’t that exactly what they did with the recent Julius Caesar play?
Though it’s not mentioned by any media outlet, the New York Times backed the questionable production of “Julius Caesar” performed in Central Park. The production made headlines because Caesar had an oddly similar look as Trump and was eventually brutally assassinated by the Roman Senators.
If the Trump look-a-like doesn’t convince you of the connection, Caesar’s wife had a Slavic accent…similar to that of First Lady Melania Trump. But even when major companies were backing out, the New York Times continued to back the play saying:
“As an institution that believes in free speech for the arts as well as the media, we support the right of Public Theater to stage the production as they choose.”

Ironically, Trump’s tweeted video was cut from a WrestleMania Competition which is part theatrical. Adding the CNN logo made it more comedic. So that would be free speech of the arts…
Trump’s tweet followed a series of mistakes and false reports by CNN, but still no one mentions anything about that. Breitbart News reported how some agencies are smearing Donald Trump:
“One establishment talking point, as Breitbart News previously documented, had numerous Democratic Party operatives and media pundits repeatedly using the word “treason” in a seeming attempt to smear Trump over unproven claims of collusion with Russia during the 2016 presidential campaign.”
This type of smearing often comes without full or even any evidence. The Boston Globe reported on the shooter at the congressional baseball game and his unsupported claims of Trump:
“One posting indicates that Hodgkinson signed a change.org petition for “the legal impeachment and or legal removal of The President & Vice President, et al., for Treason and Misprision of Treason.”
Another indicates that Hodgkinson signed a change.org petition asking past presidents to urge Congress to launch a “powerful and independent inquiry” into the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russia.
Another indicates that he signed a change.org petition supporting legislation sponsored by Massachusetts US Representative Katherine Clark that would require Trump to place his assets in a blind trust or disclose when he makes a decision that affects his personal finances.
Recently, CNN had to retract a story that used an anonymous source that resulted in three staff members resigning. The blunders made by CNN are becoming increasingly large and more often.
