Lindsey Graham calls far-left’s bluff: “Americans deserve to see…”

South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsay Graham said that he believes Congress should have to vote on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “Green New Deal” that the freshman congresswoman has been touting since being elected.

“Let’s vote on the Green New Deal!” Graham tweeted Friday. “Americans deserve to see what kind of solutions far-left Democrats are offering to deal with climate change.”

Senator Graham is essentially calling Ocasio-Cortez’s bluff, who has burst onto the political scene with the ability to make outrageous demands of her fellow lawmakers, with virtually no hope of them actually coming to fruition.

She’s still, however, able to virtue signal to her constants and her almost three million twitter fans that she is trying to reign in these out of date politicians in Washington.

Her most recent step forward in her political journey was to roll out the details for her Green New Deal that would effectively ban most vehicles and require primarily travel by train or electric car.

It would also necessitate that every building in the United States be either rebuilt or renovated to maintain state-of-the-art energy efficiency.

Ocasio-Cortez also has a big problem with livestock flatulence as well as those who are well off not paying their fair share.

The 29-year-old congresswoman from New York wants those with more earning power to pay up to 70 percent in taxes.

“So really the heart of the Green New Deal is about social justice and it’s about allowing and fighting for things like fully funded pensions for coal miners in West Virginia, fighting for clean water in Flint, and fighting for the ability of indigenous peoples to take a leadership role in, in where we’re moving as a country,” Ocasio-Cortez told NPR Thursday according to The Daily Caller.

Several Democratic 2020 presidential candidates supported the resolution that is being seen as a leftist test for literal compliance.

“Every Republican in the country should get on their hands and knees and thank Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez,” Andy Surabian, a former White House official, according to the Daily Caller.
