Former Vice President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, has some explaining to do to his new bride. Hunter recently married a South African beauty just 10 days after they first met. He has been hit with a paternity suit by a woman in Arkansas.
Lunden Alexis Roberts, 28, filed a petition for child support against Hunter Biden She claimed that she gave birth to “Baby Doe” last August, according to court papers filed last month.
The suit was filed in Independence County, Ark., on May 28, about two weeks after Hunter’s surprise marriage to South African native Melissa Cohen.
“The parties were in a relationship and a child, Baby Doe … was born as a result of that relationship,” said the filing, which lists Hunter’s legal name, Robert Hunter Biden.
The mother is asking that the court “establish paternity of the child, finding that the defendant is the child’s biological father.”
The woman is also seeking child support from Hunter, 49, who has three children from a previous marriage, and demands that he provide health insurance for the now-10-month-old baby.
This recent incident for Biden follows a number of suspicious incidents for the lawyer. Hunter famously dated Hallie Biden — the widow of his late brother Beau, who died of brain cancer in 2015. The former in-laws became lovers in 2017, and the couple received support from the Biden parents. Joe and Jill Biden dsaid that it was “lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness.”
The love affair didn’t last, as Hallie and Hunter split in April.
Roberts’ child was born while Hunter and Hallie were still together.
Two years before Hunter and Hallie started dating, the former veep’s son’s name appeared on a leaked list of Ashley Madison users.
Hunter, who was married at the time, denied using the dating site, which encourages extramarital affairs.
But Hunter’s alleged vices surfaced again when Kathleen Buhle — his wife of 24 years and mother of his three daughters — filed for divorce.
In her 2017 filing, Kathleen claimed Hunter squandered the family fortune on prostitutes, strip clubs and drugs.
“His spending rarely relates to legitimate family expenses but focuses on his own travel (at times multiple hotel rooms on the same night), gifts for other women, alcohol, strip clubs, or other personal indulgences,” the filing stated.
Hunter has begun his second marriage with Cohen, an activist who hails from Johannesburg, South Africa. The two got hitched in a secret ceremony on May 16, just 10 days after meeting.
“They met and fell hard and got hitched,” a source reported.
