President Trump just outpaced Barack Obama

According to a recent Rasmussen Report, polling shows that President Donald Trump has more than 50 percent approval rating among likely voters.

“The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-seven percent (47%) disapprove,” Rasmussen reported.

According to the same report, this is the highest approval rating that the president has seen since taking office since shortly after his inauguration in 2017.

“The latest figures include 39% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 39% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of 0,” Rasmussen went on.

“To get a sense of longer-term job approval trends for the president, Rasmussen Reports compiles our tracking data on a full month-by-month basis.”

The president has made it clear that he believes his administration to have done a much better job than his predecessor, former President Barack Obama.

Rasmussen’s supported that theory with their poll, showing that their polling reflected that Trump’s approval rating is higher than Obama’s and his disapproval index is lower.

The president tweeted on this issue on Saturday:

“We have a great economy DESPITE the Obama Administration and all of its job-killing Regulations and Roadblocks,” Trump tweeted. “If that thinking prevailed in the 2016 Election, the U.S. would be in a Depression right now! We were heading down, and don’t let the Democrats sound bites fool you!”

Trump again, recounted his successes on Sunday, pointing out what he believes to be the positive aspects of his administration:

“….The fact is, when I took over as President, our Country was a mess. Depleted Military, Endless Wars, a potential War with North Korea, V.A., High Taxes & too many Regulations, Border, Immigration & HealthCare problems, & much more. I had no choice but to work very long hours!”
