On Friday morning President Trump post on Twitter a stern warning to the former FBI Director:
James Comey better hope that there are no "tapes" of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!

This was the last post in a series of tweets some threatening the media over canceling press conferences:
Again, the story that there was collusion between the Russians & Trump campaign was fabricated by Dems as an excuse for losing the election.

The Fake Media is working overtime today!

As a very active President with lots of things happening, it is not possible for my surrogates to stand at podium with perfect accuracy!….

…Maybe the best thing to do would be to cancel all future "press briefings" and hand out written responses for the sake of accuracy???

The tweets seem to be a response to the media after his Lester Holt interview the Hill reports:
A number of reports late Thursday showed current and former FBI officials contradict Trump’s account of a meeting he had with Comey earlier this year.
Trump said in an NBC interview on Thursday that Comey had requested a dinner with him during which he asked to stay on as the FBI head. Trump also said Comey told him three times — twice over the phone and once at their dinner meeting — that he was not the subject of any FBI investigations.FBI officials contradicted Trump’s claims in an NBC News report, saying the dinner meeting was requested by the White House, and a former senior FBI official said Comey would have never told the president he was not under investigation.
And the New York Times, citing “two people who have heard his account of the dinner,” said Comey was asked by Trump for his loyalty at the dinner. The then-FBI head reportedly responded that he would offer his honesty but not political loyalty.
Whatever your political side you associate with one thing is clear the battle lines have been drawn, and it’s Trump vs. the press.
