Watch: News Hosts Are Loosing Their Minds For Ratings

News televisions host lately seem to be coming unhinged in their quest for high ratings. During this week there have been two major occurrences from both sides of the isle. Both instances I’m sure are getting great ratings but only further the divide between us. These discourses also support the villainization of those that may have different opinions than us.

In a recent interview on MSNBC’s “Hardball,” host Chris Matthews went on an attack of the President’s daughter and son-in-law. In his statement, Matthews relates Ivanka and Jared to Saddam Hussein’s children (WATCH BELOW):

“Because let me just say, we kid, I kid about everything, but Uday and Qusay are working for Saddam Hussein. You couldn’t go to a restaurant and have eye contact with one of these guys not getting killed. These people are powerful. Imagine getting into a fight in the office with Jared and Ivanka, they have enormous power, and they’re always going to be there.”

The statement hasn’t received any rebuke from President Trump, which is awfully surprising knowing the President’s track record with Twitter.

Then on Tuesday morning Bill O’Reilly made an appearance on ‘Fox and Friends’ which airs on the Fox News Network. During his appearance, he made an inflammatory racist statement about Rep. Maxine Waters you can watch below and read the transcript.

BILL O’REILLY: I didn’t hear a word [Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA)] said. I was looking at the James Brown wig. If we have a picture of James, it’s the same wig.

STEVE DOOCY (CO-HOST): It’s the same one.

BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): And he’s not using it anymore. They just — they finally buried him.

[CROSSTALK]

AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): No. OK, I’ve got to defend her on that. I have to defend her on that. She a — you can’t go after a woman’s looks. I think she’s very attractive.

O’REILLY: I didn’t say she wasn’t attractive.

EARHARDT: Her hair is pretty.

OREILLY: I love James Brown, but it’s the same hair, James Brown — alright, the godfather of soul — had.

EARHARDT: So he had girl hair.

O’REILLY: Whatever it is, I just couldn’t get by it.

Unfortunately, these things will continue to take place until we as people come together. All these news anchors want is for you to watch them, so they get rich off of us. We must stop the villainization of each other and despite our difference come together.
