After some reports that Tiffany Trump was snubbed by people at an event during fashion week in New York, Whoopi Goldberg made a very gracious gesture. On Thursday Whoopi offered to accompany Tiffany Trump to a fashion show after it was known that she was “shunned” by people around her. Christina Binkley a fashion editor for the Wall Street Journal snapped this picture of Tiffany at a Philipp Plein event.

During Whoopi Goldberg’s show “The View” she said:
“You know what, Tiffany, I’m supposed to go to a couple more shows. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’m coming to sit with you,” aGoldberg said on “The View.” “Because nobody’s talking politics. You’re looking at fashion. She doesn’t want to talk about her dad. She’s looking at the fashion.”
Tiffany did accept the invitation by Whoopi via Twitter.

During an interview on CNN Binkley who originally posted the picture of Trump clarified that Trump was with “several friends” and the seats were filled up.
“Two young women seated on her left said they didn’t want to be seated beside her, and they left to find seats elsewhere,” Binkley told CNN in an email. “I saw it as a newsworthy example of tensions arising over the Trump family, tweeted a photo, and thought I might write about it later. But within a minute or two, a well-known creative director and a friend sat in the seats.”
According to CNN a couple other fashion reporters also mentioned Trump sitting by herself.
Fashionista.com editor Alyssa Vingan Klein also tweeted, “Seating sh–show at Philipp Plein because no editors want to sit near Tiffany Trump. SHOCKER.”
Goldberg also cited tweets from Nikki Ogunnaike, a senior fashion editor at Elle, but the journalist’s account has since been protected.
During the fashion show, Tiffany Trump did sit with Plein’s sister and girlfriend.
It is no secret that Whoopi Goldberg is no fan of President Trump and weekly comments on her dislike for the President. That is why what she did was so great. No matter what she thinks of Tiffany’s father she has no problem sitting with his daughter and hanging out.
