“You have worn blackface” – Don Jr. shows no mercy in showdown with Joy Behar

Donald Trump Jr. made his anticipated appearance on ABC’s “The View” where he blasted co-host Joy Behar’s previous use of “blackface” and Whoopi Goldberg’s earlier comments where she diminishing the seriousness of director Roman Polanski’s sexual assault of a minor, Fox News reported.

“Joy, you have worn blackface,” Trump Jr. said at one point during his interview. “Whoopi, you said that Roman Polanski… it wasn’t ‘rape-rape,’ when he raped a child.”

Goldberg quipped: “Now that you’ve broken this piece of ice, because I guess it is the fight you wanted…are you questioning my character?” The comedian went on to deny that she had worn blackface, which caused Trump Jr. to later tweet a 2016 clip where she admitted that she had worn the now frowned up and offensive look.

He also virtually called out Goldberg, tweeting a link where “The View” moderator went into her opinion of Polanski’s actions, which she didn’t consider to rise to true rape of a minor.

“The panel began the segment by criticizing Trump Jr. for releasing what he believed to be the name of the anonymous whistleblower whose complaint sparked an impeachment inquiry against his father, President Trump,” Fox News reported.

Also in his interview, Trump Jr. broached the issue of their network, ABC, allegedly quashing a story that had damning evidence about Jeffrey Epstein and others.

“ABC is right now chasing down a whistleblower about all of the Epstein stuff because those stories were killed. So, if we’re going to have the conversation about the outrage about whistleblowers, you work with CBS to out a whistleblower,” Trump Jr. said.

Trump Jr. cited a report from HuffPost’s Yashar Ali which pointed the finger at ABC News brass saying that they “believe they know the identity” of the former employee who leaked the viral footage of Amy Robach talking about the unpublished story about Epstein.

“Two sources with knowledge of the situation tell me that ABC News executives know who the former employee is but don’t know if that person leaked the footage to Project Veritas, the right-wing activist group, or if they shared it with others who leaked the footage,” Ali wrote. “What ABC News executives do know is that the former employee is now working at CBS News.”
